As well, I have worked on 2 mixed farms alongside the dairy, lambing and doing general husbandry tasks with sheep such as worming, jabbing, dagging out and small amounts of work with beef cattle also doing general husbandry tasks.

I have worked on a dairy farm for over 2 year taking part in milking on a 10/10 herringbone parlour, assisting with calf rearing, basic tractor work which I have learnt in college ie topping. I also have experience with beef cattle such as worming, drenching, clipping out and also basic sheep work such as lambing, worming, jabbing etc. I have been involved in agriculture from a very young age, being brought up around it with family being actively involved in different agricultural sectors. I have worked since the age of 12 on farms and with horses, this then made me decide that after I left school I wanted a career in agriculture which led me to studying a course at college. I have thoroughly enjoyed college and the knowledge it provided me with to gain a career in agriculture and now I want to peruse what I enjoy doing full time!
