I can use a Telehandler and a counterbalance forklift. I am also confident with towing an ifor williams livestock trailer and large stock trailers to transport cattle to market. I can use Huslter TMR/Combi feeders monitored by feedlink. im able to use Vacuum tankers to clear silage tanks and Muck spreaders

Currently based in South Yorkshire working and living on a 2500 head Beef Farm ranging from R1s to R3s. duties include drafting cattle using Breeder system. identifying sickness or lameness and appropriately medicating, vaccinating, Dehorning, Castrating young Bulls and Culling with a Bolt gun, TMR feeding. Also I have experience on an Organic Dairy and Beef Farm with 365 days a year outside grazing, Milking 650 Friesian Heifers twice daily in a 45/90 Herringbone swingover parlour. My duties included Milking duties, Herding and moving Cattle, Calving and Calf rearing, Dehorning, Vaccinating and medicating. diagnosing mastitis or illness. tail trimming, milk recording. estrumating

I have volunteered at a Sheep farm in the Scottish boarders working with and lambing Lleyn sheep. I have also worked in Cornwall on a Suffolk x Texel Sheep and Belgium Blue Beef Farm. I Also go on working holidays and stay on Farms and spend a week or two helping on livestock farms to gain knowledge from others. including in Northumberland, and Durham.
