Bedded up straw yards with straw chopper, used sand box to bed up sand cubicles. Used loader to move and fed out bales to youngstock. Hitched up trailers to transport bales to youngstock off farm. Scrapped up yards.

Fed out TMR mix with mixer wagon.

Carted silage during silage season

Currently working on a high yielding Holstein herd as head herdsperson managing the day to day care of milking herd to dry cows. This is consisting of calving cows and diagnosing and treating and sick cows.

Worked with jersey cows for 4 years as calf rearer and then assistant herdsperson, this consisted of calving cows to rearing their calves along with ensuring herd health was at optimum levels. Treated illnesses in calfs and cow such as pneumonia and mastitis. Performed routine foot trimming and treated lame cows . Performed AI for two blocks.
