Uk experience and my background experience in Nigeria is own farm and family farm which I was raised on.whilst working in the UK I experienced working with pigs in a indoor environment my daily tasks were to wash and clean the pens,I also got them ready to move onto being sold and transferring them from their pens to the lorries via board method. The feed was automatic and I would check to make sure that the food had distributed to all pens. Also administered injections and Artificially insemination, recorded all relevant information. General daily tasks of making sure the pigs were well looked after and healthy. My own farm I would feed and check the goats for signs of illness and also pregnancy and general care of the goats and their kids. I would also incubate the eggs from the hens and hatch them . General welfare of the chickens with feeding and checking for any disease.I would breed the pigs on my own farm and had a breeding section were they had their piglets. I would complete daily tasks of feeding and making sure they had water and clean living area and check for signs of disease or illness.We sold our livestock to other farmers and for food.Other work experience was selling telecommunication cable and running a small shop in Nigeria and importing and exporting to other countries as well as selling locally. I was also a office assistant in Dubai were I kept the office paperwork in order and greeted clients for my employer.
