Other livestock experience

I worked on a mixed farm where I got experience in all different elements. I also go lambing every year. I worked on a farm where public could visit however I want to be more within the industry. One of my close friends does calf rearing and I often lend her a hand during dehorning time as well as TB testing. I have also worked on a large dairy farm with 800 cows being milked on a 70 point rotary, i have experience working with sheep do to shepherding a small herd and involving myself in lambing on different farms.

I have worked with all types of livestock, i would say looking after livestock is my passion. ideally i would like to be on a mixed farm with beef, pigs and sheep as these are my favorite livestock to work with. i have a lot of experience and would like to keep growing my level of experience.

Farming background

I have been working on a farm for 2 years, I loved every second however I want to move into the industry further. I suffer from dyslexia and have always been more practical. I am a hard worker and have lots of experience. I have worked with all livestock and have been lambing often. I've worked as a shepherd of a small flock, I've also worked as an assistant herds person on a large dairy.

I have always had a love for sheep, they are my passion and my goal is to work with them full time. however i really love the idea of a mixed farm as well due to being dealing with various livestock and being more hands on.
