My interests include sound animal welfare, conservation and the environment. I support the idea of working with and not against nature in farming techniques and enjoy sharing the outdoors with all its wildlife. I have always had a strong connection to communities and have been involved in organising many events; often benefiting local and national charities and always promoting good sustainable practise. I also carriage driving (once drove Dover to lands end for fun) and enjoy walking my dog to the comforts of a log fire down a country pub. I also am interested in history, theatre and travel. I have travelled through Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, India, Cuba, Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and China. I have also lived and worked on farms in Austria and Greece, learning some German in Austria. I recently volunteered on a permaculture farm in Panama; living in amongst the howler monkeys, whilst inputting water swales and learning the ecosystem benefits of living fences.
