Looking for cereal harvest work in the North Essex or South Suffolk area; mature, responsible applicant with harvest experience including some cultivation work and ploughing.
Since September 2023, I've been working on a pumpkin farm, doing tractor, telehandler and (5 & 14t) excavator work.

Left school at 16, 'O' Level educated, straight into harvest working on a 1000 acre arable unit adjacent to my parent's home.
Following harvest 1980, briefly worked in a local flour mill and a plastics factory.
Worked with the local Electricity Board for eight years, driving mini excavators and Ford backhoe loaders, laying cables and carrying out maintenance of the underground cable network.
Joined Essex Police aged 26 and served twenty eight years until retirement in 2018.
Commenced a self build house project in 2018, and once that reached a suitable stage, in September 2023, I began working on a pumpkin farm in Colchester. Whilst there, I operated John Deere & Fendt tractors, JCB & Manitou telehandlers, and 5 & 14 tonne excavators. I also supervised a team of up to fifteen agency pickers during pumpkin harvest.
That job has now come to an end, owing to farm diversification, and I'm now looking for other farm work.
