Agricultural College Graduate looking for a permanent position from November 2025 with an arable farm/company. Taken part in 3 harvest/drilling seasons for a variety of farms/companies. Just completing a temporary role with an arable farm in Norwich.

I am looking for a permanent position within the arable sector in Agriculture. I have completed a Level 3 Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in Agriculture (Arable) course. Taken part in 3 harvest seasons with a variety of arable farms/companies. Have completed my PA1&2 qualification in between arable jobs. I do have my own transport and depending on the location of the vacancy, I may need assistance with accommodation. I am keen to extend my knowledge and experience in the arable sector of farming as this is the career path I wish to follow.

September to November 2025 - working on a potato and cereal farm in Norwich. Assisting with the potato harvest
using John Deere and Massey Fergusons with 14 tonne bailey trailers. Preparing/cleaning the potato grading machine ready for harvesting the crops. Cultivating the land behind the harvester, on occasions working through the night into the early hours of the next day. Assisted in hand grading the potatoes. Basic tractor maintenance was carried out throughout the season.
I was shown how to operate a Horsch Leeb 36m self-propelled sprayer, although I did not get a chance to do any spraying.
February to September 2025 - working on an arable farm in Hampshire, assisting with preharvest and harvest work. Driving John Deere tractors and grain trailers. Using telehandlers within the grain stores. Supported the drilling team by bagging, moving, loading the seeds and delivering them out to the team. Assisting with clearing old fencing and tidying hedgerows ready for new fencing.
July 2024 to November 2024 - working with a large Cambridgeshire arable company, assisting with harvest across multiple farms in Cambridge. Driving John Deere/ fendt tractors and grain trailers. Using telehandlers within the many farms/stores
Supported drills on telehandler during the time there by delivering seed and moving the seed from farm to farm
May 2024 - Working with a North Hampshire farm assisting with cultivation, rolling and general arable work. Using ATV.
August 2023 - Worked with a Hampshire based company assisting with harvest/carting in the North Hampshire area. Driving John Deere tractors and grain trailer, collecting a variety of grains and delivering them back to the company yard/sheds. Hours worked varied due to the inclement weather during the month.
July 2023 - Completed first year of Level 3 course and am looking for farm work to build up more experience in this field. Will be going back to college in September 2023 to complete the second year of the course and I have chosen to follow the arable farming route.
April 2023 - Worked for 2 weeks (college work experience) with an agricultural services company. Consisting of moving cattle from field to field, cleaning out barns, assisting with new fencing and assisting with basic machinery maintenance
November 2022- January 2023 - Hired as a relief milker for a Farm when required. Milking a herd of 600 cattle using a rotary system twice a day.
September 2022 - enrolled on Level 3 Extended Advanced Diploma in Agriculture - units consist of Dairy, beef, arable, pigs, sheep and farm machinery
August 2022 - Visited a friends farm in Oxfordshire for a few days harvest experience. This consisted of basic tractor maintenance and watched/learnt how to chase a combine. I drove a tractor in the fields whilst my friend loaded bales onto the trailer.
