I also have some workshop experience and maintenance of machines.

I have worked with dairy, beef, sheep and pig including lambing calving and farrowing. I have experience in nearly all areas of livestock work and look to maintain high standards of welfare and animal health.

Farming background

I have worked on a 600 acre organic livestock farm which had a small shorthorn dairy herd, around 200 breeding ewes of various breeds and a roughly 200 head angus beef herd. I took part in all aspects of this farm from maintenance of fencing and drystone wall to lambing and calving and farrowing. I also milked and helped tag new livestock and various other jobs. I have worked in poultry as well both chicken and turkey. I have most recently been on a 1200 acre arable farm with 1400 finishing pigs where I helped with harvest predominantly running the grain drier. I have also done some construction work for family members and general renovation work as part of that.
