I gained an interest in farming at a young age after following my father around the farm he worked on. I worked on the same farm for 35 years until redundancy ment I had to leave .It was a mixed Arable fruit and hop farm. I did

all the arable work including cultivation, drilling, spraying, fertiliser spreading and grain cart. All also sprayed the hops and apples. I was made redundant september 2022 and am currently on a mixed farm that also does potatoes. I also have recently learnt to operate a blackcurrent harvester .I have used telehandlers and fork lifts l have a keen interest in progressive and new farming techniques
