Milked for around 6 years in total, both alone and in company. Enjoy milking and all other aspects of farming. Currently working on a 320 autumn calving unit with a 24/48 herringbone parlour. This role also involves bale carting in autumn and other aspects of machinery work when required, before this I spent some time on a beef and arable enterprise this also involved high standards of animal welfare and tractor work in the summer, in my current role I have been in charge of the main herd and antibiotic group of cows. Including taking charge of drying off and vet orders. I also lone worked on night checks during calving to insure there was no issues.
I became a main go to for issues on the farm such as machinery issues, parlour breakdowns and dry cows

Involved in aspects of the farm including drying off and other aspects of dairy farming such as clamp management, drying off, calving, calf rearing, irrigation, scraping and feeding, bedding up both by hand, a teagle and spread a bale, I was in charge of dry cow management for our autumn calving block and the day to day running of the main heard and antibiotic red group.
