2 years harvest running Claas 830 Axion Hexashift with 20T+ trailers (dual axle Broughans with silage sides modified for grain)
Additionally: Tedding, Raking, Topping, Muck spreading, bale carting and some general loader work where required (Scorpion)
Have some experience with John Deere old and new but would need a quick refresher
Starting out as a contract lamber
4 years lambing including 2 big estates with 2000-2800+ ewes, Wales and Shetland

Worked days and a couple night shifts. I would feed and bed down the ewes in the morning/evenings and perform checks around each of the 3 sheds - assisting where ever required and then housing the ewe and lamb when ready.

1st year Managed a shed with roughly 600-700 ewes in - regular lambing duties (jabbing, lambing, penning, turning out etc)
2nd year same shed with 800 Shearlings (Gimmers).
3rd year I was asked to go on nights after the night lambers ran away mid shift on the first night.
Worked with a range of people who could come and help out when they could but if there was a gap between Id do the nights alone.

Nights were alone, day shift most of the time was spent turning out.
They were on point with tubing so I got very good at that.

A month total with 3 weeks being nights and one week being day shifts after numbers depleted
Night shifts were alone
Day shifts were spent helping out feeding the outdoor ewes
