I joined the Royal Navy Submarine service in 2016 when I was 16 and did 4 and a half years in service including 1 patrol. I left the Royal Navy in 2021 and got a job as a labourer with a local builder. I left being a labourer in April 2022 as I was away from home too much and became a general estate worker in Scotland. Having lived in Scotland for nearly 6 years I decided it was time to come home where I have worked on a dairy farm since August 2023.

Take part in all the day to day running of the farm. From Milking, feeding and bedding to contracting during silage and maize harvests.

On days when the farm owners are away Im trusted in the running of the farm and am able to use my initiative to complete tasks.
