I've run my own smallholding for a number of years dealing with pigs goats and poultry managed the government paperwork and legislation as well as the day to day farm requirements including farrowing and delivering the piglets and goats through the weening stages medications and wellbeing checks then through to finishing and going to the abattoir I was involved in fairly small numbers of animals but took pride in the quality of life I could give them up to the finish line and fell in love with the farmers lifestyle
