Partner in mixed 700 acre family farm in Scottish Borders, worked sheep during teenage years predominantly as per "stock experience" above. Additional work included fencing, silage/haylage baling and carting during harvest along with other general tractor and quad bike based work, much of which now restarted/refreshed on family farm and through agricultural course. Outside of agriculture I was a director of a corporate law firm based in Edinburgh with responsibilities for both client and practice management. Prior to this I worked in investment management and economic consulting and completed extensive voluntary experience in Africa inclusive of game reserve work in South Africa.
