Scottish farm worker living in Abernethy Perthshire  I have worked in farming most of my life and I am honest, reliable, hard working and will never let you down.  I will always put my work first and will work any amount of hours needed to get the work done.  I am not scared to get off the seat and pick up a shovel, brush, spanner or grease gun and get my hands dirty.  I am a very competent tractor and telescopic driver and have the ability to do it to a high standard. My skills on machinery are Sumo Trio, Power harrowing, Bed tilling, Rolling, Grubbing with discs or Crumbler roller fitted, Cultipressing, Square bailing. I have done some ploughing but need more training to be good at it. I have a good head on my shoulders and anything I am shown I can pick up straight away and then be left to work on my own.  I am also willing to be trained on all new machinery that will benefit the farm an farmer..

Small forklift/ loading grader's,loading flat bed trailer's and curtain sider's with ware,seed order's and tonne bag's and boxes. I also unload lorry's of order's etc boxes,tonne bags and fertiliser. TELESCOPIC- ATTACHMENT'S; BUCKET,BOX TIPPLER,PALLET FORKS PLUS BALE CLAMP FOR SILAGE. I can also load lorry's with  Cattle Feed,Wheat,Barley,Oil Seed Rape. TRACTOR SKILL'S; Cultivating with a 3 metre Grubber,with disc's fitted,3 metre mounted sumo trio,3 metre power harrow,4.6 metre trailed cultipress, Cambridge Rollers, Bed Former,,pulverizer,Bale wrapper with loading arm,square baling,bale chaser TRAILER SKILL'S.- Wheat, Barley, Oil Seed Rape, Potatoes, Bales, potato boxes empty and full. TRACTOR MAINTENANCE; I can change oil, oil Filter, fuel filter and air filter. and also make sure the tractor is maintained inside and out. TONG POTATO GRADER; Which i can set up to split any size to order. EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE; changing all plough metal,tines on cultivator and grubber, blades on bed former, plus all general maintenance on separators and harvesters [potato], plus making sure everything is oiled and greased. GENERAL MAINTENANCE] Potato box mending,plus making new boxes, mending pallet's, cleaning guttering on building's, painting doors and making sure the farm is neat and tidy.  I can also work a brush and shovel, strimmer, cutting grass, weeding, fencing and cutting hedge's with a petrol cutter.  I want someone to give me a chance.  I want to learn new skills like drilling, combine driving and square baling.  I am so passionate and have a big heart for farming and that is one of the biggest you need to be a farm worker,in my eye's. TRACTOR'S DRIVEN= John Deere, Massy Ferguson, Case 155, New Holland 165, Claas. TELESCOPIC'S=Matbro 250 power shift pivot steer, Manitu pivot steer & crab steer, class crab steer, JCB crab steer, all with quick release attachments fitted.I also have my counterbalance forklift certificate

I have worked with a small herd of beef cattle where we feed them to fatten them up for market. I fed them and bedded them and watch there general health.I want to learn more about beef cattle,like calving and husbandry.I have a really good head on my shoulders and pick up things really quick. I am also willing to start at the bottom of the ladder and work my way up on any farm.

I am no longer working on a farm in Marykirk Aberdeen-shire, where i was working with cattle when needed. I was carting off the combine an filling dryer when needed. Will also be doing field work when time comes. I am willing to be trained to do anything that will help the farm and i am also willing to put in the hours needed.I am now working as forklift driver with Branston's potatoes in Abernethy in Perthshire.

Farming background

I worked with an arable farmer for 30 years. where i learned the skill's that i have.  We had great team work and worked well together and also i learned to take orders to work on my own. I am hard working,honest,reliable and will never let anyone down ever.I will work any amount of hours day and night and in any weather to get the work done for the farmer, I am also willing to be trained to the level the farmer need's to help his farm. I know that machinery and farming has change so much and that machinery is so much bigger now,but i know in my self ability that given a chance i would be a good asset to any farmer.  I just want farmers down here to give me a chance to prove what a good worker I am, because I know in myself that I will not let you down.   I have worked Sub soiler's, cultivaters, pulverizers, Cambridge roller's, cultipressing, bed tiller's, bale rapper with loading arm, straw chopper for bedding cattle and a little ploughing, but I am wanting to learn more. I have a good attitude to learn new skill's. I am also good at maintaining machinery to a good standard. I am neat, tidy and do my job to a high standard,and i have a good attention to detail. I am also not scared to get my hands dirty or get of a tractor to work a shovel, brush, spanner and grease gun. I will also cut grass,do strimming,gardening,fencing.etc.I have a clean licence and my own car so getting to any farm is not a problem. I am a very competent tractor driver and i am also a very competent telehandler driver, i don't have a ticket but am as good as anyone. I just want a chance to prove myself.  I will work part-time, seasonal, full-time, just what ever is going.I am honest, reliable, very hard working, good time keeper and will work any hours day or night and in any weather. I have loads of experience is in potatoes and cereals,i can cart off a combine no bother and i can cart off a potato harvester with 8 or 10 boxes on a flat stewart's trailer, cereal trailer i have used 12 to 16 tonne trailers.  I also would like to be able to be better at ploughing, so i would need a days training


My hobbies outside of work include: Darts,pool,walking,keeping fit an relaxing   Gardening. Watching football,rugby,tennis,and relaxing with my family But my job will always come first. And I also spend time with my son on holidays as he lives in Chesterfield
