Many years experience with beef, sheep and arable in a managerial sense. Record keeping, DIY AI, Animal Transport Licence Nightshift lambing. I am looking for a practical, hands on responsible position. Interested in a share / contract farming partnership if available. Capital is in place.

Farming background

My background is nearly all farm based. I have done some agricultural machinery sales / demonstrations and workshop building of machines. However, it is livestock work i am most at home with, and all associated tractor tasks. I am a proficient calver, lamber and hold my AI certificate for cattle. All cereal operations too, from cultivations, sowing, combining, baling, forage harvesting and the feeding and bedding of livestock. Record keeping and computer skills are also my strong points.


I enjoy travelling, reading, swimming, rugby and working with sheep dogs
