JOB DESCRIPTION ARE YOU KEEN TO GET A PERMANENT SECURE POSITION WITH CIVILISED HOURS AND PLENTY OF ON THE JOB TRAINING FOR NEW SKILLS?  We are looking for someone with a practical and positive attitude to join our team making renewable energy and green fertiliser.... As the SITE SUPPORT OPERATIVE you will learn the following: Assisting & managing general AD plant operations - feedstock reception, processing, digestion, waste disposal, production & distribution of biofertiliser and renewable energy generation.  WORK TASKS. Carrying out all operational and maintenance tasks required by the Operations Manager. Supporting staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the site. Managing deliveries (telehandler, forklift truck & tanker connection work), operating weighbridge controls and documentation processing.  Supervising and undertaking the delivery and offloading of feedstock. Cleaning and controlling delivery vehicles around a the site.  Using process equipment (reception building & site yard) to offload and process feedstock in a timely and efficient manner.  Monitoring and separating feedstock as required.  Cleaning, repairing, maintaining and servicing process equipment.  Keeping all areas clean and safe.  Undertaking maintenance and site condition checks.  Collecting operational data and monitoring information.  Record keeping, data entry and analysis.  Providing daily duties during weekends and public holidays according to planned rotas and covering emergency and sickness cover.  Working according to operational systems, H&S procedures, standard operating procedures and other site operational guidance.  WORKING HOURS WEEKDAYS: Monday to Friday 0700 to 1630 (approx) WEEKEND COVER. Working 1 in 5 weekends according to a rota covering Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.  Approx 4 hours + 24 hour call out duty (if required).  Site attendance during Saturday morning opening hours (if needed to manage incoming deliveries, outgoing waste or biofertiliser collections).  Weekend Daily Duties taking 2 to 4 hours attendance on site to provide operational monitoring, record keeping and catch up work as necessary (catch up work and maintenance is required that may require the need to for additional time on site).  24 hour Weekend Response Cover requires remotely manning the duty mobile, responding to events and conducting online monitoring of the plant via internet connection on a sufficiently regular basis over the weekend to ensure continued smooth plant operation.  Working independently, safely and efficiently.  There may be a need to attend site more than once a day to address issues that arise and ensure safe operation of the plant. Liaising with management and staff to ensure Weekend Cover is provided.
