Dear Sir/madam, Please find attached a copy of my CV. I have had more than 30 years’ experience as a Farm Manager, and have come from an agricultural and business construction background. Having been a pedigree dairy, beef and small stock manager and businessman for many years, I feel well qualified to take on such an exciting role. I am therefore eager to explore this opportunity with you. I have had excellent AI results from splitting straws and obtained a calving percentage of 115%. I am able to assist with calving, and have managed all forms of mal-presentations, including breach twins. I have a degree in agriculture, and am computer literate. Have selected all breeding bulls and matched them to the cows, in order to improve the herd breeding programme. I have been publically congratulated numerous times on my breeding and animal husbandry in both the stud dairy and commercial beef herds. I believe this is a result of hard work and dedication to the job at hand. I am self-motivated and have run farm businesses for many years. Able to think out of the box in order to solve problems, and have a keen business mind with computer skills. We currently reside in Twyning, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, but am willing to re-locate. I am available for an immediate start. I look forward to hearing from you, and thank you for your consideration. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me on the above listed details. Yours faithfully Simon
