I have grown up on my family sheep and poultry farm operating machinery from a young age. I carry out all our own machinery work with newholland and ford tractors and newholland skidsteer loader. I do all our own silage work from mowing, lifting with krone forage wagon and buckraking and bale carting. I also do dung spreading, slurry spreading, fertilizer spreading, topping, harrowing, powerwashing. I clean out our own poultry house with skidsteer loader as well as doing it for other farmers in the local area. I help out neighbours at silage time carting silage from trailed harvester and some from a selfprepelled harvester. I have drove newholland, case, johndeere, massey, valmet tractors up to 200hp. I have drove skidsteer loaders and jcb and manatou telehandlers. I have done my car and trailer test so catorgy b+e is added to my driving licence.

Grew up working with sheep and poultry on my family farm. sheep experience is lambing, feeding, foottrimming, dosing. we have 150 ewes and rear all our lambs for slaughter. On our broiler breeder poultry unit I help out feeding of the hens, egg collecting, record keeping. I help out on neighbours beef farm when needed, helping at testing etc.

Farming background

Grew up on family sheep and poultry farm working with stock and machinery all my life as above. I’m a time served welder fabricator with 6 years experience, ive made lorry trailers, quarry equipment, bus chassis, farm gates and farm repairs. I have recently built my own post driver for behind the tractor to fence on our own farm. i have good mechanical knowledge and able to service and maintain machinery as well as carry out some repairs. i do plenty of manual work so can use a yard brush and shovel as well as driving a tractor. I'm very willing to listen and learn on different equipment and new challenges and have a great attitude.
