MACHINERY EXPERIENCE Tractors – John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Case, New Holland, JCB Sprayers – Bateman, Knight, Houseman, John Deere Harvesters – Claas, Case EMPLOYMENT HISTORY March 2001 – June 2002 Farm Supervisor England – Norfik, Kingslynn 2600-acre Farm, duties included general farm work, cultivation, discing, ploughing and planting wheat. Day to day management and maintenance of the cold and grain stores, monitoring the environment as well as incoming and outgoing produce. Appointing staff to ensure the general running of the farm is efficient and effective. Additional duties included appraising staff as well as controlling health and safety on the farm. July 2002 – June 2006 Operations Manager/Spray Operator England – Worksop Duties included the control and delegation of tasks to ensure that planting, irrigation, spraying and harvesting were carried out on time and to the required standard so as the produce grown meets the expected quality of the supermarkets supplied to. Produce grown included: Salad potatoes, carrots, onions, beans, spinach, wheat, barley and hemp. Additional duties included the maintenance of all farm machinery. July 2006 – March 2007 Farm Supervisor/ Spray Operator England – Ross-on-wye Duties included general farm work, spraying, irrigation, planting and harvesting of sugar beet, potatoes and wheat. Additional duties included training and monitoring the students employed and reporting on the general progress of the farm. August 2007 – December 2007 (Resigned – No Pay) Spray Operator/Combine Driver South Africa – Kokstad, Kwazulu Natal Duties included spraying and harvesting of wheat and maize. And spraying of Potatoes. March 2008 – April 2013 Spray Operator/General Maintenance South Africa – Hopetown, Northern Cape Duties included spraying of wheat, maize and soya beans. Planting wheat, maize and soya beans. General maintenance of machinery, irrigation and pump lines. Supervisor over crops and pivots. April 2013 – September 2017 Spray Operator/ Harvest Contractor South Africa – Hopetown, Northern Cape Bought John Deere 4730 Sprayer and 2 x Claas Lexion 600 Harvesters and a Case 8120 Harvester. Which I contracted on the same farm and did all their Spraying and harvesting. September 2017 – Ongoing Spray Operator South Africa – Hopetown, Northern Cape Sold all my machinery. Went into partnership with a colleague as a contract Sprayer in our district – Northern Cape.
