I have driven tractors on farms and used them for scraping out dairy cows, feeding round bales to sheep and general farm work. I have done a small amount of fencing and testing electric on my college farm as well as using a telehandler as part of my course. I have done a small amount of dung spreading and ploughing with college as well. I have also sat on the pump while my friends have used an umbilical system to spread slurry

I have had experience in poultry, grading and stacking eggs as well as monitoring the regulatory systems within the sheds and cleaned out nest boxes. I have done 3 seasons of lambing on two different farms, doing night and day shifts, I have dealt with difficult births alone and reared 2 lots of tame lambs. I have also reared my own pheasant chicks ready for release. I have done a small amount of milking and drying off at my college farm as well as mucking out and feeding. I have prepared calf pens and helped with calf rearing.
