CV Headline | Irish machinery driver/farm worker looking for work preferably in the summer on a arable farm or with a silage contractor working with more machinery and gain more experience. I have mostly driven New Hollands and Massey Ferguson's but I have driven other makes. I am a steady person and good time keeper, quick learner and eager to learn new skills. I can work well as part of a team or on my own. I am not afraid of long hours or getting out of the cab to grease and check over a machine. |

Other equipment experience | Have driven mostly New Hollands and Massey Fergusons from 90hp up to 200hp but I have driven other makes.I have good reasonable experience of 12 ton dump trailer work, hauling cattle with cattle trailer, carting bales with bale lifter, bale trailer, low loader, side discharge muck spreader,topping, rolling, front loader work on tractor and Jcb 310 bucket work, shear-grab, bale handler, disc harrowing and wrapping bales with a Tanco 1400EH. I have done small amounts of mowing with a trailed conditioner mower, forklift work, ploughing with a 4 furrow Kuhn plough and slurry spreading at college. |

Farming background | I farm on my own 16-acre beef farm and my uncle’s 60-acre beef farm. I have done previous work experience on an organic beef/sheep farm where I looked after sheep from feeding, bedding, moving to different paddock and to weighing them before they go for the factory. I prepared ground for drilling and collected and bagged vegetables for selling.I previously worked in a car garage servicing and fixing cars. |
