Farming background

Have experiance in most aspects of agriculture still looking to learn more.  Sprayer/Combine operator mainly cereal farm (200a potatoes) covering 3500a (22/02/12-current) main responsibility operating a 40m Agrifac Condor, after leiasing with agronomists creating my own plans and looking after all record keeping on Gatekeeper. Have opperated JD and NH combines with experience of winter service and day to day running. Also responsible for harvesting potatoes , including full winter rebuild of trailer gimme harvester . Also operator of 1 of 2 14t excavators doing maintainance/extensive ditching work. Other farm duties including grading potatoes, loading grain and workshop duties including welding.  Tractor driver and mechanic in Cumbria (04/2006-20/02/2012) duties included ; spraying, ploughing, drilling, all aspects of umbilical slurry spreading, use of all grassland machinery including forage wagons, driving tracked diggers (5 and 13t),telehandlers and general tractor driving/worksop and maintenance duties. R Jack contracting (New Zealand ), tractor driver (09/2006-03/2007) working as part of silaging team main duties were rowing up, buckraking and general tractor work. (Cumbria), tractor driver and general farm worker, working with dairy cattle (03/2002-04/2006)  (Cumbria), tractor driver and general farm worker, working with suckler cows and lambing sheep (04/2000-03/2002) Education and training 5 grade C`s and 4 grade D GCSE`s at Harecroft Hall school (1996-2000) National Diploma in dairy farming at Newton Rigg college (2000-2002) PA1, PA2, PA4s and PA4g City and Guilds qualifications NROSO and Full member of BASIS Various Lantra qualifications including Abrasive wheel, 360 excavator (above and below 10t, Telehandler, Forklift and chainsaw Hold a current First aid certificate Full clean UK driving licence , including trailer test Shotgun Certificate holder
