I am a hard working individual who has a wealth of experience working within agriculture in the Scottish Borders. I have excellent knowledge and understanding of working with livestock and have developed skills in tractor work and general maintenance. I have experience in managing and supervising staff and training and supporting volunteers within the agricultural environment. Stockman:  Jan 2011- April 2017 • Managing livestock. Responsible for the daily day to day farming required to manage 200 cattle and 300 sheep. Responsible for their welfare, general health, vaccinations, worming, calving, lambing, dealing with ailments i.e. foot rot. Replenish order and review farm stock. • Trained tractor driver – Experience of working within a specific time frame to meet silage deadlines, which was completed on time. The general maintenance of all buildings were kept to a high standard whist working on the farm. • Calving, tractor work (silage, barley) and general maintenance of all buildings. All work carried out unsupervised. Health and safety assessing and adhering to policy. • Health and safety assessing and adhering to policy. • Adhere to Quality Meat Scotland standards.
