I have worked in agriculture all my working life. I have gained a vast knowledge of livestock.I recently got made redundant due to the farm being sold here i managed a hill farm with low land and upland sheep .

Shepherd ,Deuchrie Farm, Dunbar.Day to day running of the farm.950 Blackface ewes, 250 Blackface Hogs, and 550 grey face ewes and 191 grey face hogs sheep plus followers and care for pedigree heifers for the summer .Ordering feed and medicine stocks, completing movement forms.Organisation of self employed staff to assist as and when required .Run a team of 7 Border Collies gathering the hills . Complete all book work for the sheep ,QMS,Scott Beef and Dawn Meats.Grade all the prime lambs with good results .All the lambs go through Farm Stock,Scotland.
