I have experience on a wide range of machinery from the smaller more conventional wheeled 160hp tractors up to 600hp tracked machines, operating grassland implements and larger arable implements reaching 12 metres in width. Have recently started relief driving a 36 metre self propelled John Deere sprayer. I also have two seasons experience driving a combine.

Other livestock experience

Have extensive experience working with sheep and all the associated routine jobs. I grew up on a family farm where we also had pigs.

Farming background

Grew up on a mixed family farm (sheep, pigs, arable) in Staffordshire, graduated from Harper Adams with a 2.1 BSc (Hons) Agriculture Degree in 2015. Grassland experience ranging from topping, rolling, harrowing, to mowing, tedding, baling. Arable experience on the smaller family farm with 500 acres of arable: ploughing, combination drilling, rolling, combining, baling, straw carting. Arable experience on a larger 3500-4000 acre arable farm: fertiliser spreading, liquid fertiliser application, spraying, chaser bin operator, baling, compost spreading, cultivations, rolling, drilling, slug pelleting. Grain store experience with a continuous flow dryer and cleaner. Confident user of guidance technology and precision farming techniques (variable rates).
