On our small holding we only have a pick up and small livestock trailer, I have experience in driving tractors however this was in 1997.

I run a small holding with 70 plus sheep, selling fleece nationwide and also to Europe, Mutton to customers and livestock at auction and privately. We also have a thriving business in selling Chicken eggs. I am a keen learner and never afraid to get stuck in. I am not afraid to ask if I am unsure of something. I enjoy being outside in all weathers and am a hard worker and believe in never leaving a job till its done. I believe with the right guidance , support, my wide range of skill set, life experience along with my maturity I could be asset to any farming business in many ways. I am competent in using a chainsaw, strimmers, weed sprayers, mending fences and general repair work / maintenance.

Farming background

I along with my wife, who comes from a long line of farmers we run a small holding in Northumberland. We currently have 71 sheep and growing along with chickens. We carry out the day to day husbandry of looking after the sheep. Including rounding them up, vaccinations, worming, ear tagging, lambing and other day to day tasks.


I enjoy being outside in the garden, looking after the small holding, spending time with the family and being on the Parish Council.
