Other Information

After leaving Corporate Marketing in April 2013, (I stupidly chased the money rather than my passion for farming), I have spent the last 6 years following my dream of doing everything I want to do. From lambing in Scotland & Canada to sailing across the Atlantic (never having been on a sailboat in my life), I then worked on yachts in the Caribbean and last winter did a ski season in The Alps (again a challenge because I couldn't ski, cook and hate cold weather). Last summer I past my HGV Class 2 and CPC. I also completed a LANTRA tractor course. This year I really want to secure a Harvest Job. I know I would need to learn a lot, however, I would be happy to volunteer for a month or 2 to get the experience I need before the season starts so I am confident in supporting my team around me. I am free from the beginning of April. I'd be happy to learn the ropes for a few months, and I'm not afraid of a brush (a grain shed will be easy compared to 10 grown men in my chalet each week!) I'd love the opportunity to talk to you so you can understand my passion, drive, and determination when I take on a new challenge. I am not afraid of hard work and a steep learning curve. I have 2 CVs (I have 1 for sailing jobs and one for corporate position history) but cannot attached both, I have squeezed them into 1 page. Please get in touch so I can send to you both so you can see what I've been up to in more detail. I can provide as many references as you need.
