I have my LANTRA telehandler certificate and also have completed formal utility tractor and sit-in ATV training.

I have experience using tractors (with and without a loader) and telehandlers, including for:

-Topping

-Bedding-up

-Feeding

-Scraper tractor operation

-Mucking out

My experience in calf rearing includes:

-Care of newborn calves, including colostrum testing and management

-Feeding milk and hard feeds

-Washing, disinfecting and maintaining a clean environment and clean equipment

-Bedding up and mucking out (by hand or using a telehandler)

-Overseeing the weaning process

-Disbudding and rubber ring castration

-Identifying and appropriately treating sick calves

-Ear tagging and blood sampling (to check for antibody transfer)

-Record keeping

-Weighing calves and recording information to monitor growth and other trends

I also have experience with robotic milking machines
