Freshly lambed ewes were tagged, iodine to navel, tail docked and then left out to the field weather permitting. Farming background

Want to see the tillage sector but also develop my knowledge of dairy and beef and use methods I learn and apply to my home farm. I am comfortable with machinery and am well aware of the dangers of machinery. My neighbour runs a small arable farm but work is often limited as the scale is not there to employ someone full time.

I play a lot of hurling with my local team. I am also a member of the local MACRA group which is a group set up for young farmers to meet up and do activities like soccer or rugby in order to socialise away from the farm. I enjoy socialising with friends at weekends after matches or simply going to see local matches that are on. I like to travel and most often go to London to see my brother.
