Farming background

From 2006 to 2011 I worked as a Gamekeeper in Collingbourne Kingston whilst attending agricultural college. I performed many tasks on this job including tractor driving, pest control, running high profile shoot days, rearing pheasants and partridges and general estate management. I picked up many skills whilst carrying out these tasks like topping cover crops and grassland, chain harrowing, rolling and trailer driving. Since then though I haven't had a paid position.  I have spent many years helping friends and family on their small shoots and farms, right from rearing and hatching through to land management, pest control and deer management. I hold both a shotgun and a firearms certificate and a full, clean UK driving license. I have also worked as a labourer in the building industry, a landscape gardener and a security dog handler/close protection security officer so I have a wide range of skills.

Hobbies

Pigeon shooting and helping on a friend's farm/land. I also spend a lot of time in the countryside with my family.
