I spent 8 months working on a farm in Australia, I was responsible for the care of 50 charolais heifers, 10 thoroughbreds, 3 pigs, 15 goats, 25 sheep and several species of poultry. I performed everyday tasks such as feeding, as well as worming, vaccinating, tagging, castrating and other general husbandry duties.

August 2018-March 2019 Australia Farm hand. Responsibilities included: feeding animals daily, general farm maintenance (mowing, strimming, watering), animal husbandry- cattle, sheep and horse work. Lambing Season 2010-2019   Scottish Borders Paid work on a busy commercial farm. Responsibilities include: delivering lambs, watering, feeding, bedding pens and feeding pet lambs. Work Experience June 2016- Introduction to sheep shearing A one day course with Northumberland college, Kirkley Hall campus. Learning the fundamental skills involved in shearing and using them in practise. July 2013- Veterinary, South Africa Work experience with a vet in South Africa. Working with wild animals on a game reserve. Assisted with capture and relocation of buffalo and antelope as well as administering drugs and observing routine operations. July 2012-  Vets, Hexham Shadowing a large animal vet working mainly with cows and horses. August 2012- Diary Farm, Wales One week work experience on a dairy farm, helping with twice daily milking and partaking in everyday duties.
