Won a number of awards at  Fms with NMR and Yorkshire Holstein breeders club. Mary Mead won Radio 4 Farmer of the year. My last year figures in 2009 helped her win the Silver platter in the RABDF Gold Cup Grew up with cows. By 10 years old i knew all the cows names and what milk they gave of the herd of British Friesians.  I do calvings. AI. Identification and treatment of most cow ailments. Care to prevent illness is a must that i do. Observation is very important, no matter how many cows are in the herd . Mastitis. Lameness, Digestive disorders. RFM, Metritis.  I Take care of these things. I have done feeding using a Keenan feeder at Holt Farms. At  farms we did self feed grass and mai e silage and summer gra ing . In 1995 my British Friesians  had the Best  herd  figures in the UK. At fields farm. Used a peeler and a crocodile to cut out silages
