Farming background

Recently finished my 5th year at Myerscough college, and I have done some work experience on a farm which is part of the college. I have done tupping, foot trimming, tailing, injections, worming, lambing and calf weighing. I have spent two weeks helping to lamb and general farm work on a farm near Skipton with James “Amos” Dewhurst. I am currently doing some work experience on a chicken farm with Mark Gorst at Dolphinholme House farm.

I volunteer one morning a week at a church coffee morning and help with my parents hotel, making beds, serving meals and working behind the bar.
