Farming background

I havent worked in the U.K until this date my only practical experience is 3 years practical experience from college only but I was top of my class. My lack of experience was due to unforseen circumstances with my sick father which made me leave the UK immediately after finishing my Bsc. 2011-2013:  Managing a ten acre fruit, field crops and livestock farm in Egypt. The fruit farm included managing mangos, guavas, figs, apples, olives and date palm trees. The field crops included watermelons, onions, garlic, cabbage, peas, beans and clover. The livestock included managing poultry (turkeys, laying chickens, ducks and pigeons), sheep, goats and horses. Another major aspect was managing a rabbit farm housing 100 production mothers.  2008-2011: The University of Nottingham, U.K. – hands-on experience limited to wheat as part of my research project. Other hands-on experience was mainly in the laboratory, working with crops and including disease management.   2005-2008: Easton College of Agriculture, U.K. - three years of hands-on experience in livestock including poultry (chickens and turkeys), sheep, beef and dairy cattle. For the sheep (150+ ewes), jobs included lambing, worming, dipping, dagging, shearing, castrating, vaccinating and general husbandry. For the beef and dairy, jobs included, worming, vaccinating, dehorning, calving, milking and general husbandry.

In my free time I like to exercise, go to the gym and read.
