I am a hardworking and committed person, who following completion of a Diploma in Agriculture from Plumpton College, has a passion to work with livestock. I have a strong understanding of modern farming methods and am committed to animal welfare. In addition to the practical aspects of my course my ‘hands on’ experience includes: working at Headstart School as a farm hand, estates work on 80 acres of land in Cranbrook and pheasant and partridge beating around East Sussex. I would be particularly interested to work in remote areas as I love the wild countryside and recently visited the Isle of Skye.

I am currently working on a self employed basis at an estate in Kent. On the estate I undertake digger, dumper and tractor work as well as felling trees, fencing, cutting the grass and other maintenance type duties. I have also worked as a sub contractor doing tree surgery and fencing.

As well as farming and gaming I have a keen interest in fishing and enjoyed representing England in the Youth Team a couple of years ago, our team came back with gold medals, the coaches were impressed at how organised my equipment was.

Farming background

I used to work at a special needs school on weekends and throughout the summer looking after their small holding which held, pony’s, sheep, ducks, chickens and rabbits. I am always on call on another farm when they need a hand with lambing and calving.  Estate work and fencing.  Farmhand 2016 to 2017.  Beating in East Sussex.
