After gaining my gamekeepers certificate I became head gamekeeper on a shoot in Warwickshire for a couple of years. I then moved to a stud farm working with horses,sheep and pigs.I wanted to broaden my Knowledge so took the opportunity to become an assistant herdsman and general farm worker which I did for 3yrs until unfortunately being made redundant. This gave me the opportunity to move on to a bigger role and became the head herdsman on a farm in Gloucestershire,where I have been for 22yrs.

Married for 24yrs with 2 boys aged 19 and 23,both of which will be moving with us and a rescue dog.
