My uncle previously owned a 221 acre beef farm which i basically grew up on so have spent a lot of my time shadowing him and helping around the farm as much as i could. I started a part time job on a dairy farm doing night milkings in a 24/12 a side parlour which lead to me being offered more shits but had to leave as they were not looking for a full time worker. I took a full time roll on a dairy farm in August of last year milking through a 40/20 Swingover Westfalia parlour and then moved on to work on a friends farm who had recently converted to milking with 8 Lely astronaut milking robots. I had previously worked on this farm before the robots were installed during which i spent a few weeks staying on the farm in a static caravan milking 2 or 3 times a day.
