Qualified class 2 LGV driver. Since leaving the Army, I have recently done some agency driving, but the majority of my heavy vehicle experience was gained over a 12 year career. I am confident with manual and split gearboxes and basic vehicle maintenance. Though I am qualified to drive a tractor, I have very little experience, but would relish the chance to learn. I'm also a qualified tank commander with a category H licence, so am able to drive tracked vehicles on UK roads. I am fit, trustworthy and well versed in leading small teams.

I have been decorated by royalty on numerous occasions and have attended the Queen's Summer Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. I have personally briefed world leaders on operations within my remit in Afghanistan.

Farming background

I was a cavalry soldier for 12 years. A qualified tank commander, my work was focused around reconnaissance and involved long periods outdoors in the field, both vehicle mounted and on foot. I served around the world including combat tours in Afghanistan. I left the forces as a Corporal in January 2017 and have since focused on agency driving and office work. I am currently working as a recruitment consultant and am keen to return to a more active lifestyle outdoors.
