Tractor experience is on smaller tractors, moving trailers with bales, some loader work. forklift use in a factory environment, moving pallets as well as fabricated components. Worked with small excavators carrying out general earth works and drainage, loading of material into trailers from stock piles. Full New Zealand drivers Licence, this can be exchanged for full UK licence after 12 months. My New Zealand license has a class 2 endorsement. I have completed both a quad bike safety course and a four wheel drive safety course.

I come from a small family run sheep and beef farm, bringing weaner calves through to sale, we also have a small breeding flock of sheep. We look after all aspects from stock movement and feeding of balage and grain to hoof trimming and drenching.

Farming background

Coming from a small family run sheep and beef farm, i have undertaken a wide variety of tasks from trenching to brush clearing and am competent in many rural skills. I have recently been working for several years in hospitality and tourism, Prior to that i worked in civil construction where set out of infrastructure projects such as pipe lines was a large portion of the role, Part of this role also included center pivot irrigation schemes for farms converting to dairy farming. Having worked in construction and fabrication engineering i have used a variety of tools and machines from concrete breakers and mobile scaffolds to Forklifts and folding machines as well as some mig welding experience. Working at a hydroponic lettuce facility showed me an insight into the picking and packaging of quality produce.


I enjoy all sports in particular rugby, cricket and sailing. I enjoy hiking and travelling
