Farming background

I have grown up on a 47 hectare farm in County Donegal, Ireland specialising in sheep, suckler and beef. I have carried out all activities relating to the farming of these livestock. I am also a competent tractor driver having drawn heavy loads of animals and feedstuffs on main roads, secondary roads, and around the farm. I worked for an arable contractor from October to December 2005 in Southland, New Zealand. This involved mainly power harrowing and rolling for around 12 hour days, as and when I was needed throughout the 3 month period. The tractors provided were all Fords. There was some sheep work also. The contractors' name was Gregg Turner. I would use him as a reference, however he has since past away.

Hobbies

I enjoy running, swimming, cycling, playing guitar and reading.
