March 2018 – June 2018 - Working Farm Manager (2000ac Estate) Active involvement in agronomy, business and farm functionality decisions. Attending all farm meetings, discussing current practices and future developments. Working closely with an experienced farm owner, agronomist and work force. Practically involved with project to improve Health and Safety and farm efficiency. Made redundant as lost FBT on rented ground, last in first out policy. June 2014 – October 2014, Harvest Worker (1400ac Farm) First year: Corn cart, primary/secondary cultivations, telehandler work, general farm duties, occasional relief combine driving, implement/tractor/combine repairs and maintenance. June 2015 – October 2015, As above, however, more time spent as relief combine driver. July 2016 – December 2017, As above, with drilling and more off-season duties including maintenance. Left farm to persure job as farm manager. March 2017 – April 2017, Velcourt, Tractor Operator (4000ac farm total over 4 sites) Operation of 200+ hp tractors, secondary cultivations, rolling, fertiliser application. Telehandler working including moving/loading fertiliser/seed. High road mileage. Temporary work for busy October 2016 – December 2016, Combine Harvester Operator (Australia) Operation of GPS guided John Deere 9770 STS combine harvester with 40ft header. Often operating alone, completing all repairs and daily maintenance. Approximately 2 weeks of chaser bin operation. Liaising with customers, truck drivers and other custom harvesting groups. July 2013 – July 2014 Milker/ Tractor Operator (University Placement, 800ac farm) Livestock Milking at regular intervals, calf management and rearing, assistance with herd management and overall herd health. Tractor Operations All aspects of cereal cultivations, seeding and carting during harvest. Application of fertiliser to both arable and grassland, other grassland operations.
