Farming background

General farm hand (dairy), assisted in implementation of Lely robotic milkers, general tractor driving around the farm and silage harvest. I come from a background in bench joinery, but with a keen interest in farming. I get in a tractor any chance I can get, and am particularly interested in cattle, sheep, dairy and field work. My joinery skill come in very handy around the farm and I have been involved in a number of building projects, both on farms and at home. I also carry out a lot of chainsaw work due to the wooded nature of our current location and our need for firewood.

Hobbies

Anything outdoors...fell running, cycling (mountain or road), hiking, kayaking.
