Hi I’m a 41year old Irish man looking for work with farmer or contractor,tractor driving, or digger driving in the uk any area considered.  I have plenty of experience driving tractors from 80-200hp of all brands John Deere New Holland and Fendt. I can also was do the services and upkeep of tractors and machinery.  Have plenty of experience driving track machines also.

I have operated silage wagons. A strautmann giga vitasse 3601 on a 200hp new Holland. Drove all size of track diggers.along with Baleing rakeing bale stacking silage carting slurry carting umbilical spreading hedge cutting discing harrowing power harrowing mostly for grass reseeding. I have experience of driving most brands or tractors but mostly John Deere New Holland and Fendt. I would not be too up to date with gps for tractors but I am a quick learner.

Farming background

I come off a small mixed dairy beef and sheep farm of about 250 acres. It was a herd of Friesan cows the sheep was mostly Texas and Suffolk.all the usual farming work was carried out tractor driving and animal care fencing etc. After leaving school in 98 I went working full time for a contractor having previously spent three summers working for him. He cut about 2000 acres or grass silage slurry spreading umbilical pipe system muck spreading hedge cutting he ran a fleet of Deutz and John Deere tractors. He also ran a tractor garage here I learned the basics or servicing and maintaining machinery. He also had a couple track machines two hitachi 120 doing work for local farmers including drainage work and fencing hedge cutting. He also done work for two local builders which included digging out foundations for houses septic tanks and percolation areas. I worked for him for 5 years. After that I went working for a builder for two years with him it was digger driving mostly and ground works. Then I went abroad for a bit including 1 year in Cayman Islands as a maintenance supervisor in hotel. Back from their and went to London for 7 years as a shuttering carpenter worked on few big jobs including Wembley stadium docklands light rail extension and the olympics. At the Olympic site I was made in to a charge hand looking after 5-7 men here I was responsible for their safety as well as some paper work including timesheets. Back home then and I’m back working for contractor doing baleing rakings slurry spreading muck spreading digger driving and hedge cutting I also run a silage wagon for him a strautmann giga vitesse where I lift about 1000 acres
