| Farming background | I have worked on Arable and Livestock farms for 15 years gaining qualifications along the way. I am now working as a ground worker but before that i was working on a mixed farm with a small pedigree Angus herd with selling the stock to a farm shop, they also had a large grain store for frontier holding around 5000 tonnes of cereals mainly wheat, osr, and barley, i did all of the cultivations on the 2000 plus acre farm, along with doing a large amount of hay and straw bails for a side business that where sold for equine uses. Ran a small shoot on the land also. I have worked on a large beef farm also running around 1000 plus cattle, suckler cows right through to selling for beef in the farms butchers. I have experience in fencing, hedge laying, felling tress, grass management. |
