In 2016 I worked on a farm in Hampshire with 500 ewes in lamb and 4 rams. I learnt very quickly about lambing and husbandry of the ewes. Within a week I found my self being head lambing assistant, I really have a passion for sheep and other livestock and really would love to pursue as my career in this industry. This year I completed a 3 month lambing season in Hertfordshire on a farm of 2000 ewes and gained great experience and knowledge working on a larger scale. I also assisted with vaccination, worming and sheararing after the season. I am also willing to help out on other parts of the farm such as beef , I have spent a lot of time helping out of friends farms and I am confident with working with cattle.
