2012-2014 Wicken Farms co. (out of school hours/summer) • Tractor and trailer work, taking corn from the field to the grain store • Cutting weeds from the field using the tractor and topper. • Worked in the workshop, got parts for the machinery and greased up trailers ready for days use. • Working in two of the Wicken’s driers, left on my own for multiple hours taking control of the whole process which requires a great amount of responsibility and concentration. • Helping perform maintenance on the combine during the harvest period. • this is only a small list of jobs that were undertaken, I am familiar with agriculture as I have grown up with it. Shimpling Park Farms March 2017 - October 2017 • During my time on the farm I preformed a range of tasks: - Ploughing, setting up and using a Dowdeswell 6 furrow plough. - Drilling, setting up and using a System Cameleon organic drill. - Cultivating, setting up and using a Dalbo Cultimax as well as a Gregoire Besson cultivator. - Combining, due to my background in Claas I was able to be a relief driver when I was needed. - Telehandler work, loading lorries, pushing grain, stacking bales and anything else that was required. - Mowing, Being an organic farm I used a winged rotary mower and also a flail mower to put nutrients back into the soil without the use of conventional pesticides and fertilisers. • Whilst at Shimpling Farm I used sophisticated guidance systems such as Trimble, RTK and Greenstar. This helped with the Controlled Traffic Farming scheme in which the farm partook.

2016 Manns (East Anglia Harvesting Specialists) • I started working at Manns in September 2015, since starting I have gained a lot of experience for my age, I have been servicing and repairing a range of Claas products, varying from small tractors and rakes all way up to 780 Lexions and Xerions. • working at Manns has given me a lot of workshop experience, using the welder, grinders, plasma cutter and oxy-acetylene have all been part of my day to day routine, workshop fabrication has also been key, being at college and work has given me the skills and knowledge to complete the work. • I have been out and picked up customers Machines as well as delivering them and am competent in doing so, I consider myself to be a people person; so getting on with people has never been an issue. • workshop cleanliness and yard cleanliness were a big factor at work, I was very often out tidying machines to help make them presentable for customers and sales team. • I hold a customer service certificate, which I acquired at the Mercedes-Benz training centre in Milton Keynes.

• Currently I am working as an Apprentice Agricultural Engineer. • I have my own tool box filled with a comprehensive range of tools. • I have a telehandler certificate, provided by City and Guilds. • I quickly pick up how to use complex farm machinery when given instruction. • Living on a private Farm has given me the opportunity to be able to drive a large range of vehicles from a young age. • The Countryside has been my life since birth and I could not imagine myself anywhere else. • I am very confident in work involving farming machinery and maintenance, but I am also willing to undergo any training necessary to allow me to work to the best of my ability for you.
