Ability to use GPS systems and technology to assist with the task. Would gain the necessary qualifications to spray, if the situation demanded. Operating competently scraper tractors, feeder wagons and loaders. Restored my Series III Land Rover- mechanically as well as aesthetically.

Herdsman; milking and dairy husbandry for small herds between 100-200 Holstein x Friesians or pedigree British Friesians.  Worked and operated both swingover and herringbone parlours. Beef suckler herd husbandry and calf rearing as necessary. Milking and general husbandry of 500 friesland ewes in a rapid exit parlour.  Youngstock work from calving to heifer servicing; husbandry including disbudding, castration and vaccination.  As well as lamb rearing.  Shepherd work to include all routine husbandry tasks such as foot trimming, vaccination and dehorning as well as experienced lamber.

Farming background

Milking and general husbandry of 500 Friesland ewes in a rapid exit parlour.  Shepherd work to include all routine husbandry. Arable work within a mixed estate of sheep and arable. All cultivation’s, fertilising and general estate work. Several years harvesting from family farm to estates within my previous area in Dorset, as well as more recently Leckford Estate.

Hobbies

Restoring Land Rovers and look after a few of own sheep.
