Semi experienced tractor driver 39 wanting to get back into farming from spalding. Lorry driver at the moment for John deere UK and at openfields at the present.Need a bit of patients to get back into it after a 14 year break NCA in agriculture willing to learn new things and never wear a watch. Not shy of heard work and try to never be late and to be reliable.

Tractors upto 620 horse power tracked or wheels. Little experience on large claas combines and John deere. Never done any spraying but can drive one and willing to get pa1 and 2. Have a lot of experience on tele handlers. Most cultivations but never used a modern drill only an old mf 30.

I was in the Melton Mowbray young farmers sort of still am in a way. I love rugby use to play alot but not anymore. I'm into my old tractors have a te20 at present I'm trying to get running.

Marital status

Married 6 yrs with 3 children. We have a son with autism and behaviour problems. Another daughter with learning difficulties both are my step children which is hard but not there fault and we have a 2 yrs old together that is a proper chip of the old block.

Farming background

Spent time on a farm near Grantham as a student all arable having a go at all aspects of the job. During collage I had a year out to run an old friends farm as he needed a heart valve. After college I worked for an estate farm until late they sold the farm and made us all redundant. I also spent time after at a couple of contractors. Later settling at a contractors near Loughborough. Mainly silage but whole farm contract too I also gained digger experience too.

Hobbies

I try to catch up with old young farmer friends was a member/ sort of still am. I love cars mainly anything v8 with muscle and trying to get into the tractor pulling scene but money restricted. Love being outdoors country shows with the kids. Anything that makes good memories for the children.
